Boy or Girl and 9 After 9

We find out Tuesday if we're adding a boy or a girl to this wild bunch. Before we do I want to try out all the old wives tales type tests that allegedly predict the sex of your baby. Dangle ring above belly, pee on Baking Soda, that kind of thing. Anybody know any good gender prediction tests? Something your grandma taught you? Leave it in the comments below and I'll test 'em all out and then we'll find out which ones worked on Tuesday.

Also, we just celebrated our nine year anniversary and figured we'd impart some of our hard-earned wisdom with you. 9 Things We've Learned After 9 Years of Marriage. First up, you should TOTALLY go to bed angry. Click onward for more tips, plus photos from each year of our marriage.

My Brazilian friend says .... Really horny = girl. Not horny = boy

Ramsey's method: if on ultrasound the placenta attaches on the L == girl; right == boy. Apparently this 95% correct when they did a retrospective study on >6000 ultrasounds.

Looking at the profile of baby head: high straight forehead == girl, slight curve to forehead == boy.

You look way too gorgeous to be having a girl. Girls steal your beauty. Boy it is.

I agree with Richelle: you look great so I bet it's a boy. You have one of each though so it's not really a cliffhanger. Whatever the sex I'm sure he or she will be a wonderful addition to your family.

@Nettie - I don't know what it is but I feel more excited to learn the sex of this baby than my first two. Maybe because it feels like the last puzzle piece to our family? Either way, I'm buzzing with excitement so it feels like a huge cliffhanger!

what do the kids want this baby to be?

October 14, 2013 | Unregistered Commenterkacy

@Kacy - Violet thinks it's twins. A boy and a girl. And Henry goes along with whatever she says.

I'm excited for you to find out!
Btw, could you incorporate some pics showing the seasons changing? We're a little hard for that here in Cali, yo. I loved seeing you guys flying up on Yahoo, like rockstars.

Btw, going to bed pissed off and channeling my inner 'girl who' to wait until tomorrow to see if I still want to say the 13 year old girl accusations that are floating in my head.
