Don't Consider Divorce Until...

I stumbled across this article on a website featuring advice from different people on how to avoid divorce. I thought it was pretty interesting stuff. The one I really liked: "Spend the next year treating your spouse as curiously, respectfully, and gratefully as you would a mysterious stranger."

I like that. I find that I treat strangers so much better than I treat family members. I mean, I bend over backwards to be gracious to strangers. I kiss epic ass. I compliment. I reserve my harshest words for those I love. What's that all about?
