Gay Pride: Starting Young

I very much view gay rights as a civil rights war and not a political issue. There should be no debate, no opinion. Everyone should have the right to marry. Period. In the same way that I can't understand why folks would be denied rights because of a skin color, I cannot fathom being denied rights because of who you love. Civil unions? Fuck your civil unions! That is not equal. The simple fact that the phrase separate but equal is being bandied about should tell you something. Hopefully, by the time my daughter is an adult this will all be an embarrassing chapter in our history.
