You like Max's ghetto space wear? It's tough to find shit that fits a frisky 80 pound dog. Luckily, we just happened to have changed our shower curtain. There we stood, our giant Maxer clad in a tin foil covered dog collar and a scummy old shower curtain - amongst all manner of tiny dogs with fantastic store bought costumes. The second the parade started and there were a couple hundred people walking behind us, Max decided THAT would be a perfect time to relieve himself. The Surge found someone else's vid on YouTube that shows the whole thing. Notice: I am a poop picker-upper professional. I have it down to a science. It's about 1:40 into the vid.

The Brooklyn pet parade is fairly famous. They hold it every year with a different theme. Last year; pirates. This year; dogs in space.

Hmmmm. I have a dog, too. The parade seemed to me very stressfull: loud music, lots of people and dogs... your costume was ok, but the pink one?! I feel its a bit too much. I would think the dog doesn't feel well in that! So I'm not such a huge fan of th parade....

I got ya.. animals dressed as humans is a condition that generally freaks me out as well.. but what was so great about this was the dogs (especially the one in the pink tutu) were totally diggin' it. Swear to God. Pink Tutu was dancing around, smiling, trying to get attention from everyone.
