Beat The Heat... Doggy Style

It's hot. Even the air is sweaty. Walking outside is like strolling underwater. Slow motion. Oppressive and difficult. I can only imagine how hot it would be were I to don a black fur coat and attempt to trot down the street. So Max stayed indoors yesterday. Here is an account of his day:

Awwwww. Love the slo-mo slobber in the first photo. We have a super-sized brown Lab. He spent yesterday lying between two fans in the living room and staring at me accusingly. I think he actually gave me the finger when I left for work, like "you're going someplace air conditioned, aren't you, bitch?"

Gee, Purr Meow....I was more concerned that Joe was airing out his balls in front of the fan!

We do have an AC... The model Max is laying in front of is just a bonus addition that circulates the already cold air. I think Max just likes to feel the breeze on his goodtimes.

We've got supreme cooling and ventilation down to a science round these parts..

Max is adorable! I much prefer big dogs to little rat dogs. If I had the space, I'd own a lab or a golden retriever in a second!

Poor Max!!! My persian cat is also trying to survive the heat so I've learned a lot something about different poses that give relief lately. Her fur coat is not black but her hair is 12 centimeters long so I guess she's not too happy - especially today because they say on TV that today's European heat is comparable with Australian temperatures - whatever it means. It's 36 degrees Celsius here where I live. In the coolest place. Help!

You know I'm an overprotective parent when I look at the first picture and all I can think is, "OH MY GOD! His tongue is waaaaay too close to that fan! Get away from there!"

If you are willing to buy real estate, you would have to get the home loans. Moreover, my father usually takes a collateral loan, which seems to be really rapid.
