A Little Piece Of My Heart

Y for "YIKES! You are now entering God's country" or as the Mormons call it; "Brigham YOUNG University".

A little piece of my heart will always dwell in the mountains of Utah. Will always belong to certain friends and ex-lovers. But right now I belong in New York City. I am typing you from the midst of a snowstorm in the mountains of Colorado. Dad lives here. Outside the snow is flying frantically, suicidally slapping the window in its effort to be noticed. I am off to visit an old western town that is walled in on all sides by a mass of Rocky Mountains. Tomorrow I drive home to Utah... But I will get back to you before then.. There is much to tell. Yo! Thanks for all the book suggestions. I have compiled a massive list that I saved so I can refer to it for the next few years. If you think of any more... go back and add 'em. For the airplane ride; Chuck Palahniuk's Haunted.. Um - if you've read the book than you'll know that A Story By Saint Gut-Free is still haunting me. Holy shit. Some of the more disturbing words grouped together to form a story I've ever read. I think I'd rather read a Newsweek article detailing the ins and outs of a colonoscopy. Which, come to think of it, deals with a lot of the same subject matter. Christ. Some things you just can't unthink, even if you'd rather drink your own urine than think that thought again. A Story By Saint Gut-Free falls in that category, yet, against my better judgment I'm still reading the book. And how are you?

As soon as I saw that pic of the Y I got sick to my stomach. Hope you survive :)

Crazy enough, I saw how there was going to be snow in Colorado and wondered if it would make it over to Utah and snow you in! As far as the book thing goes, I am travelling next Thursday, and I went to the bookstore today to contemplate buying a book! My criteria: a book my boyfriend would be amazed that I was reading, yet still entertaining! Any ideas?

I was well thank you. Until that gigantic "Y" that represents all I abhor nearly made me upchuck my lunch.

That Saint Gut Free story is so disturbing yet funny at the same time. When I read it I felt like puking and laughing
